Enabling USB Debugging

Enable Developer Mode on Android (Step-by-Step)

Tip: Menu names vary slightly by manufacturer. If you don’t see an item exactly as written, use the 🔍 search bar in Settings.

1. Turn on Developer Mode

1. Open Settings

2. Tap About phone (or About device).

3. Scroll to Build number

   • On some phones it’s inside Software information.

4. Tap Build number 7 times

   • You’ll see “You are now a developer!” 🎉

2. Activate the Required Developer Options

1. Return to Settings → Developer options (now visible near the bottom).

2. Toggle Keep device awake ▸ On

   • Sometimes listed as Stay awake or Screen always on while charging.

3. Toggle USB debugging ▸ On

Sometimes your phone may have Auto Blocker settings. To disable it or adjust settings, navigate to "Settings" > "Security and privacy" > "Auto Blocker".

3. After Your Extraction

1. Go back to Settings → Developer options

2. Turn Developer options ▸ Off
